We collect only what we need to deliver a pet to your door and to keep you informed about its welfare. We do not sell your data.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email, phone, hashed password.
• Shipping addresses you save to your profile.
• Order history and payment status (we never store card / UPI credentials).
• Messages you send via our contact form or AI assistant.
• Basic technical logs (IP, user-agent) for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

• To process and ship your order.
• To share vaccination, health, and after-care records with you.
• To respond to your enquiries.
• To prevent fraud and abuse.

AI pet-matcher

Conversations with our AI matcher are sent to Anthropic, our large-language-model provider, for the sole purpose of generating a recommendation. We don't include personal identifiers in those requests beyond what you choose to type. Anthropic's processing is governed by its own data policies.

Sharing

We share data only with: Razorpay (payment processing), our transport partners (delivery), Anthropic (AI assistant), and Cloudinary (image hosting). We never sell or rent your data.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted by writing to care@nearby-petstore.in. We'll respond within 30 days.

We use only first-party cookies for session management and cart persistence. No third-party analytics or advertising cookies are set without your consent.
